Burn Fat and Build Lean Muscles

How do you build lean muscles?  As a woman, you probably aren’t interested in creating large bulky muscles like men.   Some women like a lean compact look to their bodies, yet they want to build muscles and reduce the fat deposits.  If you want to lose fat, you must try to build muscles---because if you attempt any extreme form of diet you could also lose more muscle mass than you want.  And if you lose muscle mass, you would be more prone to more fat when or if you gain some weight back.  That is one thing someone who wants to lose weight does not want to happen.

Most experts agree that to keep the fat off, you have to build lean muscle to keep the ‘fat furnace’ burning.  The solution is through exercise and strength building, as it gets the calories burning.  When you workout, your metabolism (which helps burn fat) will rev up and keep burning calories even after your workout is finished for the day.  And you can keep the fat burning by eating protein after your workout, which will help your muscles become more compact and lean and get rid of that dreaded fat and lose weight as the same time.

People should make more informed food choices such as consuming foods with more nutrition and fiber, as these contain less calories and enhance your fat burning furnace.  Keep in mind that man-made foods such as so-called nutrition bars, drinks and enhanced water do not help daily nutrition requirements that much.  Instead, Mother Nature’s own foods like healthy vegetables, fruit, nuts, lean proteins and the good fats are excellent choices to make for your snacks and meals.  The fiber in these foods in combination with water will keep you feeling full and satisfied so you won’t feel so tempted to eat unhealthy carb and sugar loaded snacks.

When you eat less refined foods and more natural foods, your calories will decrease and you may lose weight.  To keep away from losing muscle in your weight loss, try some resistance or weight bearing training to build some muscles.   The practice of strength training will develop your bone density, create lean muscles or maintain it while you are eliminating fat..

Many experts agree that you can still get results by practicing several half hour workouts a week to get results.  If you want to enhance your results and calorie burning, do so cardio work such as running a couple times a week and do a lot of walking to maintain your fat loss.
